A practical guide to Dhaka wedding venues

Capacity, parking and generator backup: the three questions that matter most.

A venue's listed capacity is usually its seated banquet capacity with tight rounds. For comfort, plan for 80% of the number on the brochure.

Parking decides your guests' mood before they ever see the stage. Ask how many cars the venue can hold and whether valet is included in your package.

Generator backup should be automatic, not manual. Ask how long the switchover takes, the best halls switch in under ten seconds.
